How have your views changed?

Hello Everyone,

In the past two weeks, you've met and talked to some native Canadians and read about their historical problems. I would like to know if your views on native Canadians have changed, and, if so, how?

Have a good weekend, and enjoy National Aboriginal Day at the Forks on Saturday!

Before I know lost of things about native Canadians, I just think they're unnecessary. Because, they just asked us to give them money, but now I understand them. Also, it's not their fault. And, I think Canadian Government need to make a substantial law for native Canadians.

In my opinion, the native, they have a good person and bad person, just like normar people. In this generation, we can't change them. The garvernment need to solve some problem of native. But most improtant thing that the garvernment has to consider next generation. Don't make them be helplessness.

Caroro!! (Do you know this animation character?)

Is that a right expression?
(Can I get a discount?) Do I have to use another verb?

Anyway, I'm so sorry but I haven't changed a lot. It means I didn't have many interests(much interest?) about them before, and also now. I haven't got some kind of prejudice of them since I came here. Though I've seen many beggars and addiced who seemed the aboriginal people since I came here, that didn't make me think wrong way. It's important to know about their past which had been suffered from Canadian government. However, their presents are up to their behaviors and thoughts. The government of Canada already announced an apology for the aboriginal people. Now, they have chance to accept it generously, and discuss about compensation and plans for improving their circumstances better than before.

Before I study about native Canadians, I just have negative image. Because they always ask some money, and I saw people who take a drag on the road once. So I did't feel good about them. But it is changed, because I could know their history through two weeks. For example, Some of them try to pass the tradition, and about redidental school. We need to think about why they became people who ask money and take a drag.

My views towards the Aboriginal people have not changed since the beginning of this unit. I thought that the Aboriginal people were the victims of the history. I still feel very sorry for the Aboriginal people who are living without any hope about their future. I also think that it will take many times more time and efforts to heal their community and pain than it took to destroy them.

Well, I can understand their historical problems, and I was feld so sad to them. The native keep asking the money on the street, and I am not aways give money to them, because some people use money to bought the drug and I am feel uncomfortable to them. The goverment trying to help native and give them the pesion by monthly, however some people use money to have foods or build their own house and I am happy to help them. But I can not understand some native keep driving alcohol and take drugs every day. I still don't want to give them money to have alcohol and drugs. Anain, I am happy to help them to have foods and building their home. In my opinion goverment should have different level of pesion to native people, and they have to dissuade native people have alcohol every day.

My views didnt change so much. I believe that are people with financial problems due a law, that in my opinion, It's a joke. But, How happens in all comunities, have good persons and bad persons. So, I believe that the wrong things done by past governments cant justify the wrongs done by Aboriginnals today.
